The actor tied the knot with Ellen Adarna in a simple, but elegant wedding ceremony held in Rancho Bernardo in Bagac, Bataan.
Like his wedding, the ring that symbolized his union with Ellen is without frills, though its simplicity did not hide its elegance.
Derek also put a caption on the photo he uploaded, indicating that he’s still trying to get used to having such a ring on his finger.

Derek Arthur Paggao Ramsay Jr., or simply Derek Ramsay as he is known by many, is a British-Filipino actor, model, and host. He was born on born December 7, 1976 in Enfield, England to British father Derek Arthur Ramsay, Sr., and Filipino mother Remedios Paggao-Ramsay. At the time, his mother was the chief of the housekeeping division of 11 Cadogan Gardens in England while his father worked as an inspector for the police in Scotland Yard. Though he was born in Britain, Derek was raised in Cainta, Rizal. During the 2000s, he worked as an MTV VJ, a commercial actor on TV and as a model. He then went on to play roles in various movies like Habang May Buhay, The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin, I Love You, Goodbye, and No Other Woman.
Moments before his wedding with Ellen, Derek was seen emotionally talking to his dad some distance away from the chairs in the venue. The actor was also seen wiping his eyes with a handkerchief as he talked to his father. The elder Ramsay, on the other hand, kept on patting and rubbing the back and shoulders of Derek as he talked to him. Although the camera was too far away to hear any of the words spoken, their actions confirm the two must be talking seriously about the life-changing decision of Derek.
