During her interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday, August 26, Mikee talked about the long process she needs to complete before she can take the architecture licensure examination.
Host Boy Abunda first congratulated Mikee for graduating from the University of Santo Tomas after 10 years. He then asked whether she was planning to take the architecture boards.
Mikee explained that the process would take time because aspiring architects are required to complete thousands of hours of apprenticeship before becoming eligible to take the licensure exam.

"Tito, honestly, the process is really long po kasi. You're required to—it’s like a logbook to finish like an apprenticeship for at least, almost 4,000 hours din. Hindi lang architectural, design, engineering, everything. You need to experience that pa. Parang intern work. And now, at the rate I'm going, I think usually it takes two years from a fresh grad to finish those hours para makapag-boards. Feeling ko mga three to four ako. I'm targeting three. Let's see."
Boy then asked whether becoming an architect could eventually be a reason for her to leave showbiz.
"Parang 'di ko kaya, Tito," she replied.
Boy pointed out that Mikee could pursue both careers at the same time, prompting her to clarify that she did not want to frame her plans as leaving showbiz.
"Ang bigat ng word na 'iwan.' Tama na 'yung ganyan. Pwede bang huwag nating ginagawa 'yan?"
