She went on to encourage her followers to watch the documentary themselves.

“Just watched @grab.ph’s documentary, Unbroken — stories of single mothers who didn’t ask to be rescued, but just wanted a chance to begin again.”

According to Maxene, the documentary offered a powerful reminder of the quiet strength carried by many mothers who continue moving forward despite enormous personal struggles.

“Behind every strong mother is a woman who carries more than we ever see, and still chooses to keep going. For her children. For their future.”

She added that the stories stayed with her long after the documentary ended.

“This story stayed in my heart. I hope you’ll watch it too…”

Maxene later explained that what moved her to tears was witnessing the courage and determination shown by the women featured in the documentary. She said she admired how the single mothers chose to begin again after separating from their partners, focusing on building a better future for themselves and their children despite the hardships they had endured.
