BB Gandanghari addressed questions about the mystery man she was seen with during her recent trip to Iloilo when she appeared as a guest on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Tuesday, July 7.

During the interview, host Boy Abunda brought up clips showing BB walking with an unidentified man in Iloilo, a province often referred to as the "City of Love." The conversation began on a lighthearted note as Boy joked that BB seemed to have fully embraced the city's romantic reputation.
"Ikaw talaga, pinatotohanan mo na ito'y City of Love," Boy said.
BB replied that she had simply embraced the experience.

"Inimbibe ko 'yun," BB responded.
Boy then shifted the discussion to the man who was seen accompanying BB during one of the clips and asked her to share the story behind what viewers had seen.
"Sandali. Sino naman itong kasama mo habang naglalakad ka sa—(laughs)?" Boy asked. "Ano ito? Ano ang kwento dito?"
BB laughed at the question and said she was not exactly sure why they ended up walking together, adding that he may have simply accompanied her because she wanted to take a stroll by the beach.
"Ewan ko rin, bakit ba kami naglalakad diyan? (laughs) Baka naman sinasamahan lang niya ako kasi gusto kong maglakad-lakad sa dalampasigan," BB said.
Boy, however, pointed out that what stood out to him was BB's body language in the clips, saying it appeared different from what he had seen before.
"Hindi, pero iba eh. Iba 'yung body language mo eh," Boy remarked.
BB reacted with surprise and asked if that was really how it looked.
"Ganun ba?" BB responded.
Boy maintained his observation, saying her gestures seemed to carry a different meaning.
"Oo. Parang eh. Parang may iba eh. 'Yung ganun mo, may iba talagang nilagyan (laughs) ng ibig sabihin," Boy said.
BB responded in jest, saying it may have simply been the way her outfit moved.
"Nasa damit lang siguro, gumaganon-ganon," BB replied.
The veteran TV host also inquired, "Ayan oh. At saka iba rin siya eh. Parang naghawakan ba kayo ng kamay diyan?" Boy asked.
"Siyempre kapag umaakyat ako ng hagdan, inaalalayan naman niya ako," BB replied, drawing laughter from both her and Boy.
The conversation eventually shifted to BB's love life. Boy recalled that during her previous guest appearance on the program, she had shared that she was already open to falling in love again.
"Hindi nga. Kasi the last time you were here on the show, sabi mo handa ka nang magmahal," Boy said.
BB confirmed that this remained true.
"Yeah. Yeah," BB replied.
Boy then expressed his heartfelt wish for BB to find the happiness she deserves, saying he believes she deserves all the love in the world.
"I mean, you deserve all the love really, from the bottom of my heart as a friend. You deserve it all," Boy told BB.
Touched by the message, BB thanked Boy and reflected on how everyone deserves both to love and to be loved.
"Oh, thank you very much. I think we all deserve to love and to be loved, 'no?" BB said.
Boy then asked whether BB is currently in love or seeing someone.
"So, are you loved now? Are you loving someone?" Boy asked.
BB said she is not currently in a relationship.
"Not yet," BB answered.
Boy followed up by asking whether she feels she is on the way to finding love.
"Are you on your way to getting there?" Boy asked.
BB gave a hopeful response while making it clear that nothing has developed yet.
"I guess so. Pero wala pa naman," BB said.

BB Gandanghari is a Filipino-American actress, model, and director who first rose to prominence during the 1990s as Rustom Padilla, one of the country’s most popular leading men and a member of the well-known Padilla showbiz family. After publicly coming out and undergoing her gender transition in 2009, BB began a new chapter of her life in the United States. Through the years, she has also reconciled with her younger brother, actor and Senator Robin Padilla, who now openly recognizes and embraces her as his sister.

She said her stance was influenced by what she witnessed while visiting Tacloban with her brother, where she saw the pain of victims’ families. BB also reflected on her relationship with former wife Carmina Villarroel during her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. She shared that Carmina continues to have a special place in her heart despite the passage of time. BB also fondly remembered reconnecting with Carmina when they became neighbors before she later relocated to the United States.
