Her passing deeply affected her family and many people who had followed her story online. Since then, Kuya Kim has often spoken about grief, faith, and the importance of recognizing and addressing mental health struggles.
Kim Atienza, more popularly known as Kuya Kim, is a well-known Filipino television host, weather presenter, and advocate for science education. He first became widely recognized through the educational program Matanglawin on ABS-CBN and later gained popularity as the energetic weather reporter on TV Patrol. Over the years, his passion for science, nature, and learning made him a familiar face across various television programs. In 2021, he transferred to GMA Network, where he now appears on programs such as Dapat Alam Mo and 24 Oras.
Earlier, Kuya Kim Atienza personally reached out to a distressed netizen after seeing the person’s emotional message online. The Kapuso personality later met the individual and offered words of comfort and encouragement. The netizen shared on Instagram that Kuya Kim’s gesture made them feel supported during a difficult time.
Previously, Kuya Kim also posted a video of Emman’s audition interview for Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition. In the clip, Emman talked about her passion for promoting mental health awareness in the Philippines.
