Businessman VJ Yambao, husband of actress Camille Prats, shared a glimpse of his parenting approach after revealing that he recently disciplined their daughter Nala.

In a social media post, VJ explained that their 8-year-old daughter had been testing boundaries at home, prompting him and Camille to enforce consequences.
“Parenting isn’t just hugs and fun moments. Sometimes it’s correction, discipline, and standing firm even when your child tests the boundaries,” VJ wrote.
He shared that they decided to ground Nala as part of teaching her accountability.

“Our 8-year-old has been trying to test us lately, so yes… we had to ground her. No TV. No iPad. No sweets.”
VJ emphasized that the decision was not driven by anger but by their desire to guide their daughter’s character as she grows up.
“Not because we’re angry. But because we love her too much to let character slide.”
Despite the punishment, VJ said he also made sure that discipline was balanced with affection. After grounding her, he took Nala out on a father-daughter date.
“So I took our one and only little girl on a date. Because discipline should always be wrapped in love. We correct her, but we also remind her she is deeply loved.”
He ended his message with a Bible verse that reflects their approach to raising children.
