Actress Mylene Dizon shared a heartfelt message for her Gimik co-stars after they recently reunited. Her post touched many fans, showing how deep their friendship remains after all these years.

Gimik was a hit teen series in the 1990s that followed a close group of friends as they experienced the joys and struggles of growing up. It became iconic because it introduced a talented group of young stars who later became some of the biggest names in Philippine showbiz.
In her message, Mylene expressed her love and admiration for each friend in a very personal way. She said that seeing Jolina Magdangal still makes her feel “kilig,” as if the colorful little butterfly clips Jolina used to wear in the ’90s are still there.
When she talked about Patrick Garcia, she described feeling proud of him. She called him her “non-biological younger brother,” her “original baby bro.”

Mylene also shared that Dominic Ochoa makes her feel safe. She said maybe it’s because they’ve known each other for so long, or because they share the same kind of humor and playful mischief.

“What is it about you, Jolina Magdangal, that makes me feel giddy whenever I see you? Is it because I can still see the little butterflies on your hair even if you’re not wearing them anymore?
What is it about you, Patrick Garcia, that makes me feel so proud? Is it because you are my non biological younger brother, my original baby bro, the kid who transformed right before my eyes without losing sight of kindness and respect while enjoying incredible popularity and success at such a young age?
What is it about you, Dominic Ochoa , that makes me feel that I’m safe? Is it because we’ve known each other too long, or that we have almost parallel kalokohans or is it because you’ve made yourself so trustworthy to me that I can follow you even when blindfolded?
What is it about you, Marvin Agustin, that makes me feel in awe of you? Is it because you shared your story with me, and seeing what you have done with it is just incredible, almost impossible?
What is it about you, Judy Ann Santos , that makes me feel grounded? Is it because your humility and kindness is infectious? You are a star but with us you are not, as if you don’t want us to see you as one?

Judy Ann Santos is a well-loved Filipino actress. She first became famous for her roles in classic TV dramas like Mara Clara and Ula, Ang Batang Gubat. Today, she is considered one of the most respected stars in the country and has won many awards for her ability to play many different kinds of roles. Judy Ann is married to actor and TV host Ryan Agoncillo, and they have three children: Johanna Louise, Juan Luis, and Juana Luisa. Aside from acting, she also loves cooking and has even opened her own restaurant.
In a previous report, Judy Ann celebrated her birthday on Mother’s Day with a simple and happy gathering at home. She shared photos and videos of the celebration and thanked everyone who greeted her and remembered her special day.
Earlier, KAMI also reported that Judy Ann graduated from culinary school with double gold honors. She finished her studies with Batch 43 of the Center for Asian Culinary Studies on January 13, 2025. She earned Double Gold honors for both Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts. Chef Gino Gonzalez praised her, saying she completed her courses with performance “way above average.”
