Ruru Madrid reflects on inner peace as he turns 28: “This is my favorite year”

He reflected on his growth, saying he became stronger, more mindful, and experienced many breakthroughs that helped him value peace of mind more than chasing happiness. He said he is content with where he is now and trusts that God placed him exactly where he needs to be.

Ruru Madrid is a Filipino actor, singer, and model known for his work in GMA Network shows. He first became known as a finalist on the 2012 reality talent show Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break. Since then, he has starred in many TV series, including the fantasy-adventure show Lolong, where he played the lead role. He is in a relationship with actress Bianca Umali, and many fans support their pairing.

Meanwhile, Ruru said that his wedding scene in Black Rider was one of the hardest he has ever done, as it took almost two weeks to complete. He also thanked the production staff for their hard work.
