Here is Iza’s full message:

It never gets easy, this thing called grief. Although it certainly is a gift. With every tear, with every smile, every memory I am blessed to remember, it allows for me to be grateful for the love that lives in my heart for all of them.

The list is endless. The should have, would have, could have list of the better choices I wish I made. So instead of dwelling on this, I turn to the present moment and choose to be grateful. So as the month comes to and end, I close it with peace in my heart and a prayer for our family. Good health, healing and harmony for angels in heaven and loved ones on earth. I smile, with tears in my eyes, and gratitude in my heart.
Until we meet again, JC, Mommy and Daddy. Mahal ko kayo.”

As reported earlier by KAMI, Iza made her fans happy by sharing photos and videos from her birthday celebration. She gave everyone a peek into her special day but also revealed that she had recently been sick because she had been pushing herself too hard. According to her, her body “finally gave in,” reminding her to slow down and take care of herself.

Meanwhile, last June, Iza honored her late mother, Mary Ann Ussher, on what would have been her 78th birthday by visiting Hong Kong, a place full of childhood memories. During the trip, she spent time creating new moments with her daughter, Deia, as a way of celebrating her mom’s lasting presence in her life.
