Actress and host Anne Curtis expressed her concern after a massive fire engulfed several high-rise residential buildings in Hong Kong, resulting in dozens of fatalities and leaving hundreds more unaccounted for, according to CNN’s report.

Anne, who is currently in the city for Hong Kong Fashion Fest, reposted news of the tragedy on her Instagram Stories, sharing both CNN’s coverage and the horrifying images of the blaze. Alongside the report, she included a short message reacting to the incident.
“Devastating news this morning here in Hong Kong. My heart goes out to those affected,” Anne emotionally wrote.
The fire, described by CNN as the deadliest blaze in Hong Kong in nearly three decades, swept across multiple apartment towers within a housing complex populated largely by elderly residents. CNN’s report stated that at least 44 people have been killed, with hundreds still missing as firefighters continue rescue operations to reach residents trapped on higher floors.

Authorities, according to CNN, confirmed that three men have been arrested on suspicion of mansl@ughter, citing “gross negligence” in relation to the incident. Seven of the eight buildings in the complex were still burning at the time of the report.
