“3 years in heaven today. I miss you every single day, Nanay,” he wrote, opening the message with a direct expression of longing that set the tone for the rest of his post.

“As promised, kahit gaano ako ka-busy, I will never get tired of coming here every month, most especially on special events like this,” he said, noting how these visits have become an essential part of how he honors her memory.
He also shared how meaningful it was to have people close to him present during the visit, recalling the role they played during his mother’s final moments.
“Alam ko masaya ka ngayon dahil dinalaw ka ng tatlo sa mga anak anakan mo. Same people who were there with us in the hospital during your final hours three years ago,” he wrote, highlighting the comfort brought by their steady presence.

As previously reported by KAMI, Erik Santos announced on social media the passing of his father, Renato Aquino Santos, who was born on November 12, 1952, and died in August 2023, at the age of 71. Along with the announcement, the OPM star shared a Bible verse about fighting the good fight, finishing the race, and keeping the faith. Just last November 2022, Erik also lost his mother, Angelita Ramos Santos, who passed away from cancer at the age of 66.
Meanwhile, Erik Santos opened up about his desire to have a family, admitting that he still dreams of one. The singer expressed that it’s not ideal to grow old alone and shared that he prays to have his own family in the near future. He also mentioned that one of the qualities he would look for in a future partner is someone who can understand his line of work.
