She explained: “Last night, before the kids went to bed, we watched our wedding video. And it hit different now that we’re actually living in our 10th year of marriage. Kind of like rereading the same book but at a different season in your life.”

She went on to describe how the moment prompted both laughter and nostalgia, especially when they looked back on the vows they made a decade earlier. Nikki added: “We laughed at how our well-meaning vows have been tested over the years lol, and smiled seeing how many of the faces in that video are still the same people we have (and need) in our lives today.”

Looking back on the past ten years, Nikki reflected on both the joyful and challenging moments that defined their marriage. She wrote: “These ten years have given us so many stones of remembrance. From Disney trips to ER trips. From the overwhelming joy of bringing home a newborn to the delirious 3am nappy changes. From being so sure about how we were going to raise the kids, to looking at each other like, ‘I have no idea what we’re doing.’”

Her message also highlighted the deep faith that anchors their relationship. Nikki shared: “As I look back on our 10 years, to a marriage that has brought us to our knees both in desperate prayer and in deep gratitude, my prayer today is simple: that God would bless my children with the kind of life partner He blessed me with.”
