Actress AJ Raval has finally spoken up about her break from showbiz during an interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on GMA. When asked by Boy if her decision to step away was something she and her partner Aljur Abrenica agreed on, AJ quickly replied no.

She explained that her hiatus was caused by the intense bashings and online allegations she faced, saying, “Nawalan ako ng gana dahil sa bashings.” AJ shared that she was not used to receiving so much negativity since she grew up on a farm surrounded by few people, which made her seek privacy and peace for a time.

Despite the challenges, AJ said she has now healed and is ready to return to work. Boy Abunda also clarified during the show that all parties involved have denied the accusation that AJ was the third party in the breakup between Aljur Abrenica and his ex-wife, Kylie Padilla.

In the same interview, AJ revealed for the first time that she is a mother of five. She shared that her eldest is from a previous relationship, her second child has passed away, and her three youngest are with Aljur Abrenica.

Inquirer.net reported that Jeric, who now has 15 grandchildren in total, shared that the couple’s eldest child closely resembles him. He also mentioned the children’s ages, a detail likewise covered by Bandera.

Aljur Abrenica then responded to Jeric Raval’s statement that his daughter AJ Raval has two children with him, showing respect for Jeric and understanding his perspective. Aljur said he is not yet ready to talk publicly about the matter. However, he expressed gratitude for his imperfect yet meaningful relationship with AJ. Jeric’s revelation reignited past speculations about Aljur and AJ having children together which both camps had previously denied.
