She also expressed her deep faith, saying she was most thankful to the Lord for guiding the doctors’ hands and keeping Alonzo safe throughout the procedure. The bank later clarified that no unauthorized activities were found after its investigation. Despite this setback, Jana said she has found peace, adding that although the money was not returned, she received blessings far greater than what was lost.

As reported earlier, Banco de Oro (BDO) released a new official statement addressing recent comments made by client Jana Berenguer, who claimed to have experienced unauthorized transactions on her account. The bank clarified that its investigation found no breach in its systems.

Before that, BDO stated: “We are aware of the viral posts circulating on social media regarding alleged unauthorized transactions involving a BDO client, who has publicly expressed concern about the security of her account. The Bank has been in touch with the client and working to resolve the issue at the soonest possible time.”
