On Instagram, Ice posted a throwback photo with Mommy Caring from his childhood alongside a heartfelt message dedicated to his mother, expressing the pain of facing this milestone without her presence.
“First birthday without you. Nakakapanibago na wala kang tawag o text. Na walang kakaining sinantolan, kinilaw, o punyetang iinumin. Nakakapanibagong hindi kita makakasama ngayon. Wala ang yakap na mahigpit, ang halik sa pisngi,” Ice wrote.
The former child star and respected OPM artist did not hide his grief, admitting that while he knows he has no choice but to accept the reality of his mother’s absence, it continues to be painful.
