She explained that the group spoke in English during the feature, clarifying, “Siyempre, nag-i-English po kami kasi nasa ibang bansa po kami.
She also laughed off some of the backlash, pointing out that not everyone who criticized had watched the full video.
The idol leader added that differences in food preparation abroad also played a role in their reactions. “Saka iba po ‘yung pag-prep sa food. Kumbaga, iba talaga ‘yung ditong gawang Pinas,” she said. She further reflected on the experience, admitting that while their authentic reactions were genuine, they could have shown more restraint.

And here is BINI’s appearance on the vlog People vs. Food, where they tried different Filipino street foods:
BINI is an all-girl Pinoy pop group formed by ABS-CBN Star Hunt Academy. The group is composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. In November 2020, they released their pre-debut single “Da Coconut Nut.”
In a recent report by KAMI, BINI and their lawyer formally filed a case against an individual in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The case was related to a spliced or edited video that only showed the group’s negative reactions to street food. Because of this, the members suffered intense online bashing, insults, and threats. If proven guilty, the respondent may face six to twelve years in prison and pay ₱1 million in damages to each member.
Additionally, on June 19, BINI’s Gwen Apuli celebrated her 22nd birthday. She shared beautiful photos from her birthday shoot taken by Mark Dookie Ducay. In the pictures, her pink hairstyle and elegant outfit stood out, perfectly complementing her look.
