On X (formerly Twitter), Camille shared her disbelief upon learning about the sudden wave of comments associating her with the family. “Imagine my surprise opening my TikTok and discovering a ton of comments because of the viral Co’s. I’m not related to them nor do I know them. Why naman Lord,” she wrote, making it clear she has no ties to the group.
In a follow-up post, she further clarified misconceptions about her background. “I’m not an heiress. I’m just a hardworking kween,” Camille asserted, emphasizing that her success comes from her dedication as a digital creator rather than inherited wealth.
Her statements quickly drew support from followers, many of whom praised her lighthearted but direct response to the rumors while affirming her reputation as one of the country’s most established fashion and lifestyle vloggers.

Nasa likod mo ang taumbayan na nagmamahal at nagtitiwala sa'yo
I knew her since her blogging era and she’s successful on her own so please leave her. She’s the right, Co, ok?
I’ve been following miss camille co ever since guys. She’s in no way related to the controversial Co’s of Bicol. She comes from clean money and is also a proud Kakampink.

Aside from Camille Co, there have been other public figures who have recently denied accusations against her.
Earlier, Julius Babao had this to say about the rumor that he was paid millions to grant an interview: “The P 10 Million accusation is Super Fake News! People in the Media industry know me as one who can never be bribed by anyone in exchange for favors or for a story. Sa interview na ito 10 months ago ni @jannolategibbs at @stanleychi sinagot ko yan.”
In another report, Veteran journalist and host Korina Sanchez and her camp called out Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto for his recent Facebook post slamming certain journalists for interviewing Sara and Curlee Discaya before the 2025 Election. Korina‘s team denied being paid P10 million for the feature, which is supposed to be a success story and not an investigative piece. She said: “In the case of the Sara and Curlee Discaya interview, their rags-to-riches story is their story. While the feature was never intended to be investigative but simply a success story, should there have been anything untrue about what they claimed after airing, it is up to the accuser to point this out. We will air it if verified... The interview was conducted well before the campaign period, aired in November 2024 and January 2025… There is no such thing as a 10-million peso placement for an interview. It is irresponsible to even say such.“
