Pilita Corrales, born María del Pilar Corrales y Garido, on August 22, 1939, in Lahug, Cebu, Philippines, was a celebrated Filipino singer and actress. Affectionately known as "Asia's Queen of Songs," she passed away on April 12, 2025. Her illustrious career spanned over six decades, during which she recorded more than 135 albums. She is survived by her children, including actress Jackie Lou Blanco and actor Ramon Christopher Gutierrez.
