The post, which originated from a Facebook page, showed a sweet photo of EA and Shaira together. Alongside the image were false statements attributed to Maris and Shaira, written in a manner that made it appear as if a heated online conversation between the two actresses.
The fallacious text attributed to Maris said: “sa una lang yan masaya friend kami nga mas matagal pa sa inyo pero kita mo naman nangyari sa amin?, wag kang maniwala sa kanta ni kuya drew dahil di yun totoo! sorry pero opinyon ko lang yan.”
Meanwhile, the supposed reply attributed to Shaira read: “grabi ka naman friend, hindi naman lahat ng tao parepareho, 12 years na kami nagmamahalan, sabi nga ni kuya drew find ugly para di ka iiyak diba? wag kang bitter friend kung di kayo naging masaya ni kuya Rico.”

The fake conversation was clearly designed to stir intrigue by suggesting tension between Maris and Shaira while dragging Rico’s name into the exchange. To intensify the fabricated drama, the page even added a misleading caption.
“Mareng Maris Racal hayaan mo na sila dahil pang habambuhay yan. Pakinggan mo na lang yung bagong kanta ni Sir Rico Blanco, PAALAM,” the caption reads.
Ogie did not let the misleading post go unnoticed. On his Stories, he shared a screenshot of the viral content and boldly stamped it with the words “FAKE NEWS ALERT!!!”
The entertainment reporter and talent manager also reminded the public, “Wag Pauto Sa mga Pa-viral!!”
