”God’s proof of restoration, My Family our blended Family,” she wrote, before recalling the difficult journey they went through in the early stages of their relationship. “Hindi madali ang pinagdaanan ng bawat isa sa amin, ang dami naming struggles nung mga panahon na nagsisimula pa lang maging kami ng asawa ko.”

Lovely revealed that there was a time she prioritized her daughter Crisha’s feelings over her relationship with Benj due to tensions between the two. “May time na sinabihan ko siya na hindi siya ang pipiliin ko kundi ang anak ko, dahil sa sitwasyon na hirap silang magkasundo,” she admitted. She shared that her daughter initially thought a new partner would mean she would be forgotten, leading to unspoken resentment. “Pag wala ako para silang aso’t pusa.”

The actress credited her unwavering prayers for helping bridge the gap between her daughter and husband. “Ang panlaban ko noon PRAYERS… pinagdadasal ko kay Lord na tulungan niyang magkaintindihan ang dalawa,” Lovely said. At the time, she confessed she didn’t have a deep personal relationship with God yet. “Nag dadasal ako everyday pero di ko alam paano ko siya maririnig, if tama ba ang ginagawa ko and all.”

Unbeknownst to her, Benj already had a relationship with God. “Yun pala si Benj may relationship na kay Lord, tinapik siya ulit, kinausap siya hanggang sa sinasama na niya kami sa church,” Lovely recalled. It was there that true change began. “Inalis ni Lord ang pride, ang galit sa mga puso dahil sa mga trauma… and this is the best reward na binigay niya samin. Complete, peaceful and happy family.”

Lovely said the road to healing wasn’t quick. “Hindi naging madali hindi mabilis matagal kaming nag antay pero ang promise niya binigay niya as long as we obey,” she wrote, adding that she was especially emotional during Crisha’s recent debut, seeing how far they had come as a family.

She left a message for others experiencing similar struggles: “Kaya ikaw na nagbabasa kung may struggles ka sa family, sa heart mo, sa pride, anger issue always Pray kasi siya lang ang mag aalis ng lahat ng yan, papalitan niya ng peace and open his word para may panghahawakan ka sa lahat ng sinabi niya.”

Lovely closed her post with a Bible verse from Joel 2:25:

“The Lord says, ‘I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you.’” She explained that this verse speaks of God’s power to restore what was lost or damaged, promising abundance and satisfaction.
