Lian Paz praises Grab driver who took her home during rush hour: “Nag pray ako”

Actress and former dancer Lian Paz took to social media to share a meaningful experience she had during a Grab ride home. According to Lian, she had difficulty booking a ride as three drivers canceled on her, prompting her to pray for a nearby driver who could take her home safely.

”3X nag cancel ang grab when i was booking kaya nagpray ako, sabi ko, lord. pls send a grab driver na po, to get us home safe and a nearby one kasi ang tagal… But you know everything always happens for a reason! I am blessed upon going home via grab today!!!” she wrote.

Lian said that just before she got off, the driver handed her a leaflet, which made her smile. “When i saw it; napangiti nalang ako. sabi ko, okay lord. what do you want me to do with this?” she shared. She then realized how inspiring it was for the driver to boldly share his faith, calling it “a very clear reminder to where my focus should be too. To stand firm in faith and continue to work for our Lord and Savior.”

Reflecting on the encounter, Lian wrote, “That every person, everyday, in any time, is very important, one soul at a time.” The actress ended her post feeling grateful for what she described as a divine reminder to keep her faith strong in daily life.

Lian Paz is a former dancer who regularly appeared on the iconic noontime program, Eat Bulaga, as a member of EB Babes. She and Paolo Contis used to be in a relationship, but they broke up eight years ago. They have two children named Xonia and Xalene. Lian Paz is now in a relationship with cager and businessman John Cabahug.
