On Wednesday’s episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” Fermin said the complaint got dismissed not due to lack of evidence but rather through a meaningful reconciliation facilitated by their legal teams.
Fermin also revealed how Ogie Diaz played a significant role in the said reconciliation.
In her commentary, Fermin turned emotional while expressing her heartfelt gratitude to Diaz and talking about the “balato” he humbly asked from Sen. Pangilinan.

“Gusto ko pong pasalamatan mula sa puso si Ogie Diaz po, ang aking anak-anakan,” Nay Cristy earnestly said.
“Magiging emosyonal ako kasi po nag-uusap si Sharon at saka si Senator Kiko sa New York, siya naman pong pagtawag ni Ogie. At ang sabi niya, ‘Sen, isa lang naman yung hinihingi kong balato sa'yo. ‘Yung kay Ate Cristy. Nag-usap po sila. ‘Pagbalik aayusin natin,’” she aired, narrating Diaz and the senator’s conversation.
She further continued, “Balato ibig sabihin hiningi, nagtulay, humingi ng espasyo para sa isang pag-aayos.”
“Ogie Diaz, sobrang salamat sa'yo,” Fermin added, expressing sincere appreciation for Diaz’s efforts.

Ogie Diaz is a multifaceted Filipino comedian, actor, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He is widely recognized for his portrayal of 'Pekto' in the long-running television sitcom Palibhasa Lalake. He has also appeared in various films and television series. In addition to his on-screen endeavors, Ogie has made significant contributions as a talent manager. He once managed the careers of Liza Soberano and Vice Ganda. In his personal life, Ogie is openly gay and has been in a long-term relationship with Georgette del Rosario. The couple has five children.

Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz is one of the prominent personalities who are mourning the death of Lolit Solis. It can be recalled that Solis has died on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the age of 78. She passed away following her long battle with kidney disease. Recently, Mama Ogs paid his respects to the late showbiz columnist and talent manager by visiting her wake in Quezon City. Diaz then took to Instagram Stories to share a video he took from the said wake. Along with the clip, “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update” host penned a short but touching message to Solis, where he mentioned their late fellow talent manager, Douglas Quijano.
