Ogie Diaz took to Facebook to share an important development about Sharon Cuneta and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan’s cyberlibel case against Cristy Fermin.

On Tuesday, July 8, Diaz revealed that Cuneta and her husband have dropped their cyberlibel complaint against the veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin.

In his post, Diaz likewise penned his thoughts on the couple and the “Cristy Ferminute” host’s reconciliation.

“Nakakatuwa. Okay na sila ngayon,” Mama Ogs reacted.

“Kung matatandaan natin, nagsampa ng cyberlibel case ang mag-asawang Sen. Kiko Pangilinan at Sharon Cuneta. Matapos humingi ng public apology si Ate Cristy Fermin sa kanyang youtube channel, heto’t nagkita na sila sa korte kanina (July 08, 2025) para iurong ang kaso.”

“Sabi nga ni Ate Cristy, ‘Kung nakapanakit tayo ng kalooban, marunong naman tayong humingi ng tawad,’” the talent manager wrote.

“Hindi naman sa korte lang lagi ang lugar para ipaglaban ang karapatan at katotohanan. Pwede namang mag-usap nang puso-sa-puso. Hanggang sa pairalin ang pagpapatawad. Lalo na kung meron namang nabuong relationship noong araw pa,” Diaz further reflected.

“Thank you, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and Mareng Mega. #SanaAll,” he concluded his post along with three heart emojis and a heartwarming photo of the couple and Fermin.

It can be recalled that in May 2024, the senator and his wife filed the complaint following the remarks that Fermin made on her online show on YouTube called “Showbiz Now Na!”

Sharon Cuneta is a Filipino actress, singer, television host, and entrepreneur. She is often referred to as the "Megastar" of Philippine entertainment due to her decades-long career and immense influence in the industry. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor, Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, the Megastar tied the knot with Kiko Pangilinan, a former Senator. Kiko and Shawie then have three truly wonderful children.
