Vargas posted a touching video from their last lunch date, where he is seen sharing a meal with Solis and exchanging laughs and stories—something he said had been their tradition for over two decades.
“Parang kailan lang nagbibiruan lang kami nila Nay Lolit,” Alfred wrote in the caption. “This was our last personal meeting recently, our usual lunch out para mag-update ng personal and professional life and ask for advice.”
In the video, Vargas lovingly praised Solis not just as his manager, but as a second mother. He shared that throughout their 21 years of working together, they never signed a formal contract—only a “word of honor” sealed their bond. He also emphasized that he never once considered getting a different manager.
“Kapag kasama mo siya, feeling mo nasa safe place ka at nasa mabuti kang kamay,” Alfred wrote.
He highlighted Solis’s generosity and care toward her talents, humorously recalling that “if she fed steak to her dogs, just imagine how well she treated us, her alaga.”
Alfred closed his tribute with heartfelt words for the woman who guided his career and offered him unwavering support:
