Several celebrities are among those grieving Solis’ passing. They paid their respects to Manay Lolit by visiting her wake at Aeternitas Chapels and Columbarium in Commonwealth, Quezon City.

Entertainment editor Salve Asis posted on social media a carousel of photos and videos from the late talent manager’s wake.

Paolo Contis, Yasmien Kurdi, former senator Bong Revilla, Amy Austria, Arnold Clavio, Gabby Concepcion, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong Hilario are among those spotted in the said photos.

Just recently, Solis shared on Instagram that she had an anxiety attack while confined at FEU Hospital. She described waking up disoriented and emotionally overwhelmed by the unfamiliar hospital setting.

Despite feeling weak and helpless, she expressed gratitude for the caring staff and doctors at the hospital. The talent manager reflected on the experience as an eye-opener and remained hopeful for recovery so she could return to the life she loved.

Lolit Solis was a well-known personality in the Philippine showbiz industry. Born on May 20, 1947, in Sampaloc, Manila, she started her career as an entertainment news writer and later became a talent manager and host of television talk shows. She passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 78 after her long battle with kidney disease.

In a previous report by KAMI, on Instagram Stories, Sandy Andolong shared photos captured when she and her husband, Christopher de Leon, visited Solis’ wake, which is being held at Aeternitas Chapels and Columbarium in Commonwealth, Quezon City. Aside from the couple, Pauleen Luna, Lorna Tolentino, Cavite representative Lani Mercado-Revilla, Benji Paras, Tonton Gutierrez, and Glydel Mercado, have also visited the wake. ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes was likewise spotted paying her respects to the late talent manager and entertainment reporter.

In another report, former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. is among those grieving the death of Lolit Solis. He took to social media to post an emotional farewell message to his longtime talent manager along with photos of them. The actor-politician expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Solis, whom her treated as his second mother. Revilla also honored the late talent manager and showbiz columnist’s contributions to the local entertainment industry. “Ang aming taus-pusong pakikiramay sa lahat ng iyong naiwan. Lahat kami ay nagluluksa. Mahal na mahal ka namin,” Revilla concluded his moving tribute post.
