Showbiz insider and actor Ogie Diaz took to Facebook to share his thoughts on responsible food reviewing, especially after content creator Euleen Castro faced backlash for her negative review of a coffee shop in Iloilo.

Ogie emphasized that negative public posts, especially about food businesses, can have real consequences on people’s lives.

Wag. Hindi tama.”

He explained that when he receives food he doesn’t enjoy, he opts to send private messages instead of publicly shaming the brand.

Diaz also shared a personal experience with a favorite coffee shop where he gave respectful feedback about their prices and food quality.

The staff took his comments seriously, and on his next visit, the food had improved.

Finally, he left a message for food vloggers and influencers:

Hindi lahat sana for the views. For the love and concern din.”
