Kapuso actress and singer Rita Daniela took to social media to share a heartfelt tribute to her mother, Rosanna, as they finally fulfilled a long-delayed trip to the beach. Rita posted touching photos of their getaway to Boracay and a cozy meal at a restaurant, a promise she made back in 2019 after her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.

”2019, my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer,” Rita wrote. “To cheer her up, I promised her that I will bring her to Boracay, eat good food, rest and spend time.” However, with the arrival of the pandemic and Rita’s own journey into motherhood, plans were pushed back for several years.

“Time really is precious since that moment came to us but Pandemic happened, I gave birth, I became a first time mom. I wasn’t able to fulfill my promise right away.

“2025, she’s passed the remission stage. So, yes. She deserves this long and relaxing trip.

“Grateful for God by giving me this chance of fulfilling one of my promises to her. What a treat from a child’s and daughter’s heart,” Rita said.

Now in 2025, Rosanna has passed the remission stage, and Rita was finally able to make good on her promise. “She deserves this long and relaxing trip,” Rita said, expressing her gratitude to God for the chance to see her mother happy and at peace.
