Solis didn’t hold back her emotions, saying she was “sobra ako disappointed sa nakuhang resulta kay Bong Revilla,” expressing disbelief over Revilla’s current standing. Even more striking was her reaction to the number of votes garnered by TV host and newcomer Willie Revillame, remarking, “Hindi ko matanggap na ganuon karami ang boto ni Willie Revillame. At lalo siguro hindi ko matatanggap kung uupo siya na Senador.”
She warned that such a development could turn the electoral process into a spectacle: “Para talagang komedya na ang election natin kung mangyayari iyon. Basta sana huwag maging tutoo na puwede ang posibilidad na mananalo si Willie dahil talagang kaloka pag nangyari.” Solis likened the scenario to a nightmare, saying, “Isang bad dream na parang bangungot talaga. Heaven forbid.”
In the latter part of her post, Solis reminded the public of the importance of electing capable leaders: “Electing our leaders is a gauge of how we trust those who will run our country, let us be wise and choose the BEST. Bongga.”
