Korean performer and television personality Dasuri Choi penned a heartfelt message on Instagram for her close friend, Winwyn Marquez, following the latter’s inspiring stint as a candidate at the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant.

Sharing video clips from the coronation night, which she personally attended, Dasuri called Winwyn “forever my queen” and praised her for the strength and determination she showed throughout her journey. She emphasized the unique challenges Winwyn faced as a working woman and devoted mother to her daughter, Luna.

“We all saw how much effort you poured into this journey while balancing your work, your family, and of course, being a loving mom to Luna,” Dasuri wrote. “You’ve proven that motherhood isn’t a limitation but a powerful strength.”

The message took an emotional turn as Dasuri reflected on the broader impact of Winwyn’s participation. “You didn’t just join a pageant. You represented every mother who continues to chase her dreams while raising a family,” she said. “You made us believe that nothing is impossible, no matter your age, your situation, or your responsibilities.”

In a touching moment of personal reflection, Dasuri added, “You even made me reflect more deeply on my own mother. You reminded me that before she became my mother, she was a woman with dreams too.”

Dasuri ended her tribute by thanking Winwyn for being a source of inspiration: “Thank you for reminding us what it means to chase dreams with courage and purpose. You’ll always be my Miss Universe.”

Teresita Ssen Lacsamana Marquez, also known as Winwyn Marquez, is a Filipina celebrity and beauty queen. She is the daughter of Alma Moreno and actor Joey Marquez. She was the first Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas titleholder in the Miss World Philippines 2017 pageant. She also won the first Reina Hispanoamericana crown for the Philippines in 2017. Furthermore, Winwyn represented Muntinlupa in this year's Miss Universe Philippines pageant.

Previously, Winwyn Marquez reacted to Dia Mate’s Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 win. Dia bagged the Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 crown during the pageant’s coronation night in Bolivia on February 10. In a series of posts on Instagram Stories, Winwyn wrote sweet messages for her fellow beauty queen. In one of her other posts, Winwyn expressed, “I knew it. Unang usap pa lang namin, alam ko mananalo siya.” Furthermore, Winywyn affectionately called Dia “my reina.”
