On March 6, 2025, the Magalona family gathered at Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina to honor the 16th death anniversary of the legendary Filipino rapper and musician, Francis Magalona. His wife, Pia Magalona, along with their children Maxene, Saab, and Elmo, paid their respects at his gravesite, accompanied by a Catholic priest who conducted a blessing and offered prayers. Maxene was also accompanied by her rumored boyfriend, DJ Geoff Gonzalez.

Francis Magalona, often hailed as the “Master Rapper” and a pioneer of Pinoy hip-hop, passed away on March 6, 2009, after battling acute myeloid leukemia.  His contributions to the Philippine music industry and his patriotic songs have left an indelible mark on Filipino culture.
