Actor Sam Milby recently took to Instagram to share a personal health update, revealing that he has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

In his candid post, Sam explained that despite considering himself a healthy person with no family history of the condition, he was diagnosed last year. He reflected on his lifestyle, noting his lack of a sweet tooth and rare consumption of junk food, and expressed a wish that he had sought medical advice earlier when he was pre-diabetic.

Sam urged his followers to be mindful of their health and not to ignore potential symptoms, highlighting his own experiences of increased thirst and frequent urination. He emphasized the importance of regular check-ups to catch any issues early.

Sam said: I've always thought of myself as a healthy person. I don't have a sweet tooth, bihira din mag junk food, pero last year I found out na may type 2 diabetes na ako. My parents and grandparents never had it. I just wish I got checked up earlier nung pre diabetes pa. My advice - don't ignore the symptoms (my main symptoms - always thirsty and urinating often) and get checked up regularly.

Sam Milby is a famous actor, model, and endorser in the Philippines. The actor rose to fame after participating on Pinoy Big Brother, eventually becoming a big star in movies and series. He was engaged to Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray but they called of their engagement eventually.
