News anchor Arnold Clavio took to Instagram to provide an insight into the health challenges faced by showbiz reporter and talent manager Lolit Solis.

Arnold recounted a recent encounter with Lolit at Metrobank Timog branch, where despite her health struggles, she remained positive and joyful.

He shared that Lolit undergoes dialysis twice a week and had the opportunity for a kidney transplant, after Lolit’s close friend Senator Bong Revilla Jr. made efforts to find a potential kidney donor. However, Lolit declined the offer, considering her life at 77 as a "bonus."

Arnold expressed admiration for Lolit's resilience and contagious positivity, wishing her strength and longevity, while also vowing to take extra precautions for his own health, as both he and Lolit are diabetic.

As Arnold bid farewell to Lolit with a renewed sense of hope, he expressed gratitude for her presence as a source of inspiration and defense.

“Alam mo Salve , nagkita kami ni Nanay Lolit sa Metrobank Timog. Tama ka , kung saan din tayo nagkita ! At sa kabila ng kanyang pinagdadaanan , positibo at masaya ang kanyang mga pananaw sa buhay. Nalaman ko na dalawang beses pala siyang nagda-dialysis sa loob isang linggo.

”Tinanong ko kung bakit hindi siya magpa-kidney transplant . Sagot niya , may donor na nga raw siya courtesy of Sen. Bong Revilla pero siya mismo ang tumanggi . Sabi ni Nanay , ‘bonus’ na nga itong buhay niya na umabot sa idad na 77 at nagpapasalamat siya sa Panginoon sa mga biyayang ipinagkakaloob Niya.

“Totoong nakakahawa ang positive energy na nakukuha mo sa ibang tao . Huling banggit ko, ‘Nay, palakas ka . Matagal ka pa !’ Nagpaalam ako kay Nanay na may baon na bagong pag-asa para sa aking hinaharap . Bitbit ko ang mas dobleng pag-iingat sa aking kalusugan dahil pareho kaming diabetic. Salamat Nay ang aking tagapagtanggol,” Arnold said.

Lolit Solis is an entertainment reporter, talent manager, and host in the Philippines. She is well-known for her frank commentaries about showbiz.

In another report, Lolit shared an art card calling for justice for dog Killua. She also wrote a lengthy caption where she penned her thoughts about the viral Golden Retriever dog that died due to maltreatment. Manay Lolit expressed how much her heart breaks due to the dog’s wrongful death.

Earlier, Lolit shared on her IG Stories that she would feel happy whenever someone would tell her that she or he is a follower of her IG account. She feels proud about her 155K followers, and she also feels proud about people telling her that they follow her account. Lolit said that it creates a feeling that she is still relevant at her age and that her mind is still sharp.
