Darren Espanto, Jayda Avanzado confirm having a romantic relationship before

- Darren Espanto and Jayda Avanzado have confirmed in separate interviews that they had a romantic relationship in the past

- On GMA’s “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda”, Darren said that there definitely was something romantic between him and Jayda when they were younger

- During an interview with Cristy Fermin, Jayda confirmed that what Darren told Boy Abunda was true

- However, both Jayda and Darren would prefer to keep the exact details about their past romance private

Singers Darren Espanto and Jayda Avanzado have confirmed in separate interviews that they had a romantic relationship in the past.

When Boy Abunda asked Darren on GMA’s “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” if there was something romantic between him and Jayda before, Darren replied:

“There definitely was. But ‘yun lang po ang sasabihin ko… It’s something that I guess we’d like to keep private. Things from the past… Jayda and I we’ve been friends since we were younger. Jayda and I are still friends."

During an interview with Cristy Fermin, Jayda confirmed that what Darren told Boy Abunda was true.

“Nung interview actually nagulat ako, may nagsend na lang po sakin na sinabi niya (Darren) po ‘yon. Pero totoo naman po ‘yung sinabi niya na way back then nung mga bata pa kami. Meron po talaga, kumbaga parang may feelings din po na nabuo samin pong dalawa. Nangyari po talaga ‘yon.

“Hindi ko na lang rin po parang ie-elaborate. Ibibigay lahat ng mga detalye pero it is true. Naging close po talaga kasi talaga kami ni Darren dati. He was once special to me. To this day, okay naman po kami. Lalo na po kapag nagkikita kami,” Jayda explained.

Jayda Avanzado is a popular singer in the Philippines. She is the only child of singer-actress Jessa Zaragoza and singer Dingdong Avanzado.

In a previous report by KAMI, Jessa Zaragoza turned another year older and wiser. Her and Dingdong Avanzado’s daughter, Jayda Avanzado, took to social media and posted a greeting to the birthday celebrant. In her post, Jayda shared a couple of lovely photos of her and her mother. Along with the snaps, Jayda wrote her short but heartfelt message to her mom.

Earlier, Jayda had a romantic scene with actor Rhys Miguel for the music video for the young singer’s song “Paano Kung Naging Tayo.” Jayda then took to social media and shared the behind-the-scenes footages of her MV. Dingdong’s reaction to his unica hija’s romantic scene was likewise caught on camera.
