Rica disclosed that she and Piolo once shared a deep connection, describing how they "functioned as a couple" without officially labeling their relationship.

Despite not putting a name to what they had, the duo sometimes discussed the possibility of settling down together. She emphasized that while they never made concrete promises, their bond was strong and meaningful.

Throughout the interview, Rica remained grounded in her approach to their relationship, acknowledging the hints and possibilities while maintaining a sense of cautious optimism.

“Hindi ko nga alam, pero we existed and functioned like a couple talaga.

“There were talks of like—’di naman diretso pero parang magse-settle down together, ganyan. Pero [it was] like any other couple, gano’n lang siya—na maiisip mo na pwedeng mangyari ito, pero he never naman promised.

“I never naman really said na I wanted this. It was just something that we entertained. It never got to that point and we never labeled our relationship, but it was very very good naman what we had together.

“I think it was very obvious that we liked each other, we loved each other, but we were like more friends really na we just like to be together a lot.

“Parang may mga hints here and there na ganito… [But] I didn’t really ride on that whenever I would hear something and whenever I would feel something.

“Parang sa akin, maybe there is a possibility but let’s see. Until it’s really there, I don’t consider it serious,” Rica shared.

Rica Peralejo is an actress who used to be a cast member of “Ang TV.” The former actress is now married to a Christian pastor named Joseph Bonifacio. They have two children – Philip Nathaniel and Manu.

Previously, Rica received some unsolicited comments on social media. Earlier, she uploaded a 3-minute video where she did her own makeup. However, some netizens commented about the former actress' braces. This, in return, prompted Rica to explain why she needs braces afterward.

In the same video post, one netizen wrote a comment saying she looks 60 already because of her weight. This, in return, prompted the former actress to respond to the netizen afterward.
