Herlene Budol has broken her silence on her fellow Miss Grand Philippines 2023 contestant, Catherine Camilon of Batangas, who has been missing since October 12.

On the ‘Today’s Talk’ segment on GMA’s ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ Herlene sent a message to raise awareness about Catherine. She called Catherine as one of her “sisters” at the said pageant.

Furthermore, Herlene expressed her hope that Catherine is safe wherever she is and that she will be able to go home. Lastly, she urged the public to help out by sharing information about Catherine and her possible whereabouts.

“Catherine Camilon is one of my sisters sa Miss Grand Philippines. Sana kung nasaan man siya ay nasa maayos siyang kalagayan at makauwi na siya sa kanyang pamilya.

“Tulong-tulong po tayong mag-share ng information para mapabilis ang paghahanap sa kanya. Sis, uwi ka na,” Herlene said.

Herlene Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She was also crowned as Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 in the recent Miss Grand Philippines pageant. Herlene plays the lead role in Kapuso afternoon series "Magandang Dilag."

In a previous report, Herlene posted some lovely pictures from her recent birthday photoshoot with photographer Jomar Franche. The said photos were captured in a setting depicting her humble beginnings. Clad in a stunning Leo Almodal gown, the “Magandang Dilag” star also wore her Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 crown.

Herlene also had a fun guest appearance in an episode of "It's Showtime." The Kapuso star treated the Madlang People to an entertaining opening number with Baby Dolls. At the top of her voice, Herlene shouted, "What's up, Madlang People." On the other hand, Vice Ganda aired his honest thoughts following Herlene's lively greeting. “Tignan mo nga naman ang plot twist. Dati ang isinisigaw mo, 'Bigyan ng jacket 'yan!'” Meme Vice expressed.
