Miss Universe PH 2023 Michelle Dee’s final Q&A goes viral

Michelle Marquez Dee bagged the Miss Universe PH 2023 crown last night at the Mall of Asia Arena. One of the biggest reasons she won was her epic answer to the final question given to her by pageant host Xian Lim.

In relation to the Department of Tourism's new branding campaign "We give the world our best", Xian asked Michelle what she believes is the best thing about the Philippines.

Michelle replied that although the Philippines have great natural resources and tourist spots, the best thing about the country is the warmth and friendliness of the Filipino people.

She added that no matter where life takes her, she will always be proud of being a Filipino.

“The Philippines is home for very beautiful natural resources — from the beaches, the mountains — but I firmly believe that the best natural resource that the Philippines has is us Filipinos.

"We are the true heart and soul of the Philippines. With the way we are hospitable with the warm smiles, and we are the reason why the world keeps coming back for more."

"No matter where the universe takes me, I will always be proud to call the Philippines my home. And no matter what happens, I will always be proud to call myself Pinoy,” Michelle answered.

Michelle Dee is a beauty queen who rose to fame after winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant. She will represent the Philippines at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador later this year. Michelle’s mother is actress and former beauty queen Melanie Marquez.

In other Miss Universe-related news, Anne Jakrajutatip revealed what she said to Catriona Gray during their viral interaction at an event in Thailand back in November 2022.
