“Your job is to heal yourself.
“Healing will always look and feel different for everybody because we are all naturally different from each other. If you are on the path of healing and your friends and family are not (yet), it doesn’t mean that you should convince or force any of them to heal with you. They will do it when it feels right to them and there are some who will not do it at all. And that’s okay.
“We have to respect each other’s journeys here on earth and understand that everyone will always have the right to choose and carve out their own path.

“Your job is to focus on yourself and your healing journey, not judge others if they’re not on the same path as you and distance yourself from souls who do not align with your truth.
“If you have friends and family whom you believe need to heal, it’s best to pray for them instead of preach to them about healing. Even if you have the best intentions for them, healing will not work if it does not come directly from them. Please don’t waste your energy helping those who refuse to help themselves. As long as you keep working on yourself, they will see your growth and transformation and hopefully get inspired to start their own healing process,” Maxene wrote.
