Pokwang suggested that the Philippine government should take notes from the South Korean government in the way it supports and promotes its entertainment industry.
“maganda naman po ang inyong hangarin senador na mabigyan kaming mga local artists ng trabaho, salamat po… pero imbes na i ban ang mga koreanobela gayahin natin sila na suportado ng gobyerno ang bawat proyekto nila at ang buong industriya nila #kungpwedelangnaman,” Pokwang tweeted.
Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic.
As previously reported by KAMI, Pokwang confirmed her split with Lee O'Brian via an online post. On her Instagram, the celebrity mom said she and Lee are better off as friends. According to Pokwang, she and her former partner actually ended on good terms. Needless to say, Pokwang said that her late mom, Gloria, serves as her inspiration on being a strong mother.
Meanwhile, Pokwang and her daughter, Malia, are now practicing their caroling as Christmas is just right around the corner. On her Instagram account, Pokwang posted a video of her and Malia practicing their caroling. However, netizens were stunned when Malia suddenly stopped halfway and bid her mom goodbye.
