On her Instagram Stories, Rica frankly wrote, “Someone shared this with me, and siguro alam naman na natin ang galawang ganito ano. Mga headlines na ginawa para maging controversial pero walang wala sa context.”

“Bago kayo maniwala sa ganyan pakibasa yung original content dahil ibang iba ang sinabi ko. In fact sinabi ko pa na hindi talaga cocert yung habol kung hindi si ma'am.”

Furthermore, the actress revealed her friends’ hilarious reaction to the photo used by the newspaper.

Rica also posted an adorable photo of her and her son Manu. The photo shows them getting reunited following the actress’ presence at VP Leni's Iloilo rally. In the caption, Rica shared her reason why she decided to join the said event. The celebrity mom also shared how her mother influenced her on taking a stand.
