Lolit Solis named several showbiz personalities whom she said are kind and fair when it comes to people working for them, such as drivers and Personal Assistants or PA.

The veteran showbiz columnist, in an Instagram post, talked about how celebrities then and now treat those who work for them.

“Isa sa batayan ko pag tinatanong ako kung ano palagay ko sa ugali ng isang artista iyon alalay niya o PA, o iyon nakikita ko na kasama niya,” the veteran columnist wrote in her post.

She opined that when celebrities have a big turnover rate, particularly with their drivers, then something is wrong.

“Kasi pag maayos iyon trato mo sa kasama mo, hindi aalis iyon,” she said.

While the veteran showbiz columnist did not discount the possibility that the driver or PA is “maarte,” or “maikli ang utak kaya madali din umayaw sa trabaho,” she also said that most of the time they resign because of the bad treatment of their employers, in this case, the celebrities.

She then mentioned some celebrities whose PAs and drivers have been with them for a long time.

“Si Yaya Luring ni Sharon Cuneta, si Dina ni Lorna Tolentino, si Beth ni Rudy Fernandez, si Erlie ni Alma Moreno, at iyon ibang stars na para narin mga members ng family nila ang mga staff nila,” Nay Lolit revealed.

She also said that when showbiz personalities treat people around them in a fair and kind manner, then they would be with the celebs until the end.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.

The veteran showbiz columnist also recently penned a lengthy post about her excitement regarding the First Lady. On Sunday, November 14, the veteran writer talked about the importance of the First Lady in the country. According to Lolit, since Imelda Marcos, no First Lady stirred buzz among the people and on social media. She also pointed out how some of the candidates for the Presidential Elections have wives who are quiet and private.

She also revealed the reason why she was not able to attend the wedding of Gianna Revilla, daughter of Senator Bong Revilla. The entertainment columnist could not make it to the wedding because she was not feeling well. Furthermore, Lolit said that the wedding venue was also too far away for her. For this reason, she felt some regret not being able to see her goddaughter Gianna finally get married.
