Lian Paz kina Xonia at Xalene: "Nakita nila yung hirap na pinagdaanan ko"

Lian Paz, during one of her recent interviews with One PH, talked about her daughters–Xonia and Xalene, her kids with Kapuso artist, Paolo Contis.

In her interview with Inay Ko Po, Lian discussed why her two children don't have official social media pages online.

According to Lian, she often explains to her kids the dangers of social media, and how they're not yet of age to use or be part of the social media community.

"Una, sabi ko sa kanila, 'Girls, that's why wala kayong social media kasi una sa lahat wala pa sa tamang age. Even yun gumawa niyan, hindi pinapagamit yung anak niya ng early kasi alam nila yung possible dangers ng social media. Number two, alam niyo na si mommy is showbiz before and your papa is showbiz before and mahirap na may mabasa kayo na content na hindi niyo magugustuhan,'" she explained.

When asked how she explains their situation to her children–Xonia and Xalene, Lian says her kids are mature enough with their answers.

"Alam mo yung mga bata talaga, minsan na-amaze ako sa kanila kasi minsan meron talaga silang paninindigan. May sarili silang sagot, mature sila at an early age. Siguro nakita nila kung paano ako... nakita nila yung hirap na pinagdaanan ko bago kami nakarating kung nasan man kami ngayon. Kaya pag may sinabi rin ako, parang mabilis lang din nila maintindihan kasi alam nila eh. So pagka may ganun, ang sinasabi nila, 'Ah okay. I know,'" she said.

Lian Paz is a dancer who regularly appeared on the iconic noontime program “Eat Bulaga” as a member of EB Babes. She and Paolo Contis used to be in a relationship, but they broke up eight years ago. They have two children – Xonia and Xalene.

As previously reported by KAMI, Lian Paz recently congratulated her daughter, Xonia Contis, for being an achiever in school. On Instagram, Lian revealed that Xonia finished her first year in high school as Top 1. She also showcased her daughter's awards and certificate, prompting netizens to congratulate Xonia. Xonia is one of Lian’s daughters with her former partner Paolo Contis.

Meanwhile, Lian Paz made headlines after she took to social media to post a photo of the handwritten letter she received from John Cabahug. According to Lian, the note was given to her by John last year, before her birthday. Based on John's letter, he thanked Lian for letting him go outside for a drink.
