Jessy Mendiola shares her joys, struggles as a first-time mom

Jessy Mendiola uploaded a new YouTube vlog featuring her life as a mother. The actress admitted that as a first-time parent, she is a “praning” or paranoid mother to baby Isabella Rose.

“As a praning mom. Char! Ha-hahahaha! Siyempre first time ko magkaroon ng baby. First time lahat. Mabilis lang akong kabahan. Nakakakaba pag first-time mom ka talaga,” Jessy shared.

Nonetheless, Jessy has learned to accept and enjoy the challenges of being a parent since it has helped her discover her capabilities and learn new things about her child.

“Pero at the same time nakakatuwa kasi ang dami mong nadi-discover about your baby and of course about yourself. Na kaya ko pala yun, hindi ko akalain na kaya ko pala mag-alaga ng baby mag-isa,” the actress said.

The celebrity mom is also thankful to her husband, Luis Manzano, for being a hands-on daddy despite his busy work schedule.

“And of course si Haw-Haw (Luis) palagi niya akong tinutulungan kahit siya rin clueless kung ano yung dapat gawin. Kasi siyempre first time dad din siya. Kahit busy yan sa work, palagi rin yan tutok sa amin ni Rosie,” she stated.

Finally, Jessy advised new parents to not be afraid and embarrassed to ask for help when it comes to caring for their babies.

“Sa mga first-time parents, dapat huwag kayong mahiyang humingi ng tulong or magtanong, kasi para sa anak niyo yan eh. Para din sa inyo. Ang pag-aalaga ng baby, paulit ulit lang naman,” she advised.

Luis Manzano is a popular actor and TV host who works for the Kapamilya network. He is the son of showbiz legends Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano. He has also starred in a number of movies. The star is now married to actress, product endorser, YouTube vlogger, and model Jessy Mendiola. Luis and Jessy already have a child named Isabella Rose, who is also known as Baby Peanut.

Previously, Luis also delighted his social media followers after sharing a video of him, Isabella Rose and Jessy. The video showed the well-loved family’s recent “lambingan” moment. Vilma and Edu then reacted to the heartwarming video. Ate V swooned over the precious moment while Edu recollected the time when Luis was still a baby.
