Lolit Solis, naniniwalang uulitin ni Gretchen Barretto pagbibigay ng “love boxes”: “Hintay hintay lang tayo”

Lolit Solis, in one of her latest Instagram posts, expressed her belief that Gretchen Barretto would again give away this year “love boxes” to those in the showbiz industry.

The veteran showbiz columnist also said that of all showbiz personalities, Gretchen is the only one to do such thing.

“Si Gretchen Barretto lang ang artista na nakagawa nito, bigyan ang buong showbiz. Wala siyang pinili, walang ranking o level, kaya ang ligaya ng lahat,” Manay Lolit said.

“Nagulat ang showbiz sa generosity ipinakita ni Gretchen. Iyon pagbibigay niya kahit pa nga wala na siya sa showbiz,” she noted

Gretchen’s so-called “love boxes,” which she gave to celebrities and ordinary showbiz workers, were filled with various foodstuffs and other goodies.

Manay Lolit pointed out that with the dismal situation of the entertainment industry right now, La Greta is among those expected to brighten the world of showbiz workers.

“Kaya ngayon na lalo pang lugmok ang showbiz, talagang isa siya sa inaasahan magbibigay ligaya sa mga nasa industriya,” the veteran columnist said.

She then expressed belief that Gretchen is concocting another “pasabog” for the Christmas season.

The columnist then asked everyone to be a little more patient.

“Iba rin ang takbo ng isip ni Gretchen Barretto kaya hintay hintay lang tayo. Sure ako may pasabog na naman ang team Gretchen. Itatanong ko kay Ana Abiera at Rusky, tiyak ako bongga na naman ang Pasko para sa lahat dahil kay Gretchen Barretto,” Manay Lolit said.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities.

In a previous post, Manay Lolit got worried after her friend, Senator Bong Revilla, was rushed to a hospital. Revilla underwent a procedure at St. Luke’s Medical Center-Global City due to ureteral stones that caused him pain and nausea. Solis expressed her concern for Revilla, who she described as a kind and generous person. The showbiz reporter also expressed her hope that Revilla will fully recover soon because he still has a lot of responsibilities to do as a senator.

On the other hand, there are also days when she feels weak after receiving treatment. The showbiz reporter expressed her hope that she will get better soon because she finds her illness to be difficult.
