The former Kapuso news reporter, Steve Dailisan shared another milestone of his life, as he is now a licensed commercial pilot.
KAMI learned that he posted this victory of his on his Facebook account, where he looked back at his past experiences when he was a news anchor.
"Looking back, I whole-heartedly accepted that in life, you don't always win. I failed the journey in flying once. After years of being ON AIR, who would've thought that now I am LITERALLY ON AIR. Enjoying even more of what used to be a failed dream."
"Hindi lahat ng kabiguan, kamalasan. Minsan may kakambal iyang swerte na sa huli mo malalaman. Pag itinadhana, ipagkakaloob sayo ng higit pa sa iyong inaakala. Huwag ka lang mapapagod sumubok at magtiyaga."
It's known that the former GMA news broadcaster has resigned from the network early 2018 to become a pilot and it didn't take long, because October of the same year, he was able to fly his first solo flight and had it posted on his FB account.
Steve said that it's no joke to leave something that you love. He even added that you will always choose something that will make you braver.
"Sa totoo lang, hindi birong iwan ang "First Love" mo. Mahirap talikuran ang mga bagay na nakasanayan mo na. Pero kapag dumating ang araw na kakailanganin mong mag-desisyon, pipiliin mo ang bagay na mas magpapatapang sayo." he wrote.
Despite the triumphant moment, Steve previously said on his post that he had never dreamt of becoming a pilot.
"It has never been my childhood dream. How can you dream of something that is way beyond your reach? I'm just being realistic.", Steve wrote.
Steve's brave decision and victory were admired by a lot of netizens and his story has now served as an inspiration to many.
