Ogie Diaz recently had a commentary on Robin Padilla after the latter revealed that he has already used the money he and Mariel Padilla saved for their kids amid the ongoing pandemic.

On his YouTube channel with Mama Loi, KAMI learned that Ogie defended the actor from those who criticized his current financial situation.

“Siyempre 'yung iba diyan, lalo na 'yung mga hindi nakakaintindi sa mga political views ni Robin Padilla would think na, 'Ayan, si Robin Padilla naghihirap. Kakasuporta mo sa gobyerno ayan, edi ikaw ngayon ang wala'... Siyempre hindi mo maaalis na may umoopinyon ng nega sa sitwasyon ngayon ni Robin.

The prominent talent manager then went on to laud Robin’s generosity which the former had witnessed personally.

“Just to let them know, 'yung mga ayaw kay Robin. Minsan dinala ako ni Robin sa Fairview. Doon sa Fairview, nakita ko kung gaano karaming kapatid na Muslim ang kanyang pinapakain, ang kanyang binibigyan ng shelter.

Kaya sabi ko kay Robin, 'Bin, hindi ka yayaman'. Kasi 'pag mayroon kang pera, nag-iisip ka, sino 'yung susunod mong tutulungan'. Ganoon siya. Kaya bilib na bilib ako sa taong 'yan, ilang beses ko 'yan napatunayan. Hindi 'yan pakitang-tao, dahil huling sentimo ni Robin 'pag may nakita siya, ibibigay niya.”
