A father, Jeffrey Francisco, is mourning the death of his 10-year-old son, who succumbed to dengue.
In ABS-CBN's report, the boy had a fever and was vomiting on July 27. They brought him to the health center on July 29, where they found out that he has dengue.
Early morning of July 30, the boy was suffering from severe stomachache and they brought him to the hospital in Novaliches, but it lacked the necessary medical equipment, and they had to look for another hospital.
According to Jeffrey, he was finally admitted at the 10th hospital that they went to. However, it didn't reach 24 hours from the time of admission when the body of his son succumbed to dengue.
"Masyado kasi nabugbog ang katawan nya, may sakit na sya tapos biyahe pa kami ng biyahe, hanap kami ng hanap ng ospital.." said the father.
"Hindi na po namin inisip kung mahal man, kasi buhay na ng anak namin ang pinag-uusapan," said Jeffrey, whose bill reached up to P125,000.
