- They finally named the first four movies that will be featured in this year’s conduct of the said festival
- One of the qualified entries was the much-awaited part 3 of “Praybeyt Benjamin” starring Vice Ganda

The upcoming movie of Vice Ganda was announced as one of the first four official entries to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
KAMI learned that the said comedian will be starring in the much-awaited part 3 of his blockbuster hit entitled “Praybeyt Benjamin.”
He first portrayed the character of Benjamin Santos in 2011, helmed by the late award-winning director Wenn V. Deramas.

The announcement of the first four official entries was made on Friday through social media, and the decision was based on script submissions.
Aside from “Praybeyt Benjamin 3,” the upcoming comedy film of Toni and Alex Gonzaga entitled “The Exorcism of My Siszums” also made it to this year’s festival.
Other official entries are “Magikland” starring Jun Urbano and Bibeth Orteza, and “Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan” starring Joshua Garcia.
Based on the previous editions of MMFF, the festival will begin on December 25. The organizers have yet to disclose if the date will be moved due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
With regards to the other official entries, they will be selected and announced after the submission of full-length outputs.

Vice Ganda is a certified box office star because of the whopping number of people who line up on cinemas just to watch his films.
Last year, his movie entitled “The Mall, The Merrier” was outshone by the Philippine adaptation of “Miracle in Cell No. 7” starring Aga Muhlach.
During the recent episode of “It’s Showtime,” the said celebrity admitted that he does not want to have a child because of too much cruelty in the world.
