Vice Ganda suddenly got emotional on It’s Showtime after his real-life partner Ion Perez revealed that he received his first award in showbiz.
KAMI learned that the handsome gentleman was hailed as Breakthrough Artist of the Year during the LionhearTV Rawr Awards 2019.
On the recent episode of the said noontime show, the boyfriend of the “Unkabogable Star” was congratulated by the hosts for his newest achievement.
Ion suddenly shed tears as he admitted that he dedicates his award to the former “Praybeyt Benjamin” star who now serves as his partner.
Even Vice was seen crying while the promising celebrity was giving an emotional speech in front of the “madlang pipol.”
“Masarap magtrabaho pag may inspirasyon ka… Pwede pong [si Vice ang dahilan] bilang partner ko ‘to…” he quipped.
“Basta ako, nagpapasalamat po ako [dahil] binigyan ako ng ganito. Ni sa panaginip, ni sa guni-guni, hindi ko po naisip na bibigyan ako ng ganito. Nay ito oh, yung kasama mong nagtitinda ng kakanin, may award na,” he added.
When the two celebrities were sharing an emotional moment on stage, the other hosts urged them to wipe each other’s tears.
