Ryu Seung Ryong, the original actor of the hit Korean movie "Miracle in Cell No.7" reacted to the trailer of its Philippine adaptation.
KAMI learned that Korea's veteran actor just found out about the Philippine adaptation of his previous hit movie. He shared the film's trailer on his Facebook account on Wednesday.
Seung Ryong was touched to know that after 7 years there will be a remake of the film.
"So touched to know that there will be a Philippine remake," he captioned.
Meanwhile, Viva Films was elated upon finding out that one of Korea's biggest movie star recognizes and supports the Philippine remake of the film.

After the teaser release of "Miracle in Cell No.7" on Tuesday, its views immediately reached 1 million views in 2 hours. Across social media, the views soared to 9.6 million within 24 hours, according to Viva.
"9.6 MILLION VIEWS IN 1 DAY! Mula kina Lito, Yesha, at sa aming lahat, maraming salamat po sa inyong suporta sa teaser ng Miracle in Cell No. 7!"

Miracle in Cell No.7 is a heartwarming drama-comedy film, originally a South Korean movie, about a mentally challenged man wrongfully imprisoned for murder and eventually builds friendships with his inmates who helped him smuggle his daughter inside.
Aga Muhlach, Xia Vigor, and Bela Padilla will star in the film's Philippine remake which will be shown in cinemas on December 25 for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2019.
