A simple forgotten duty of a mother led to her two-year-old daughter’s death when the baby was left in their car.
According to multiple media reports, Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker said the mother thought she took her child to Little Footprints Learning Center before going to work.
When the mother came back to the daycare to pick her up, the workers told her that she did not dropped her off that day.
Tucker said the mother ran to her car and realized the child was already lifeless and was still in her car seat.
No charges would be filed since there is no evidence of foul play was founded.
The identity of the mother and the child were not released.
